Scope and purpose of the processing of personal data


2.1 Accessing the Website


When this website is called up, data is automatically sent to the server of this website by the Internet browser used by the visitor and stored in a log file for a limited period of time. Until automatic deletion, the following data is stored without further input by the visitor:

So-called cookies are used on the website. These are data packets that are exchanged between the website server and the visitor's browser. The legal basis for the use of the analysis tools is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 letter f) GDPR. The website analysis is in the legitimate interest of our company and serves the statistical recording of the use of the website for the continuous improvement of our website and the offer of our services.


With 1&1 WebAnalytics we get to know more about the visitors to our website and can thus optimize the website in a targeted manner.

For this purpose, we collect the following data

how often and for how long our website is visited

which pages of our website are accessed most frequently

We do not use cookies when using 1&1 WebAnalytics. The collected IP addresses and browser identifiers are stored anonymously so that no conclusions can be drawn about the individual users of our site.

This always presupposes that the third party providers of this content perceive the IP address of the users, since without the IP address they could not send the content to their browser. We make every effort to use only those contents whose respective providers use the IP address only for the delivery of the contents. In particular, you may request information about the processing channels, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right of rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right of appeal, the origin of your data, if these have not been collected by us, and the existence of an automated decision-making process including profiling and, if applicable, meaningful information on their details;


in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR, to demand without delay the correction of incorrect or complete personal data stored by us;


to demand the erasure of your personal data stored with us in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR, unless the processing is necessary to exercise the right to freedom of expression and information, to fulfil a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims;

We use the most common SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method in connection with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. Usually this is a 256 bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit v3 technology instead.
